Après ASUS, Qt continue son chemin dans le domaine du grand-public, avec Panasonic, et son KX-VC500, un téléviseur haute-définition (HD). Il sortira en octobre au Japon, et supportera le standard Full HD, ce qui signifie qu'il est capable d'afficher une résolution 1920×1080i, sonorisée aussi clairement qu'un cristal. Il pourra se connecter à l'Internet.

L'interface créée ainsi pourra être réutilisée sans problème sur bien d'autres plateformes, comme une imprimante tout-en-un, ou un téléphone Skype. Grâce à l'utilisation de Qt.
Cependant, une telle utilisation nécessite quelques moyens nouveaux pour Nokia :
